I'm going with Val Kilmer on this one. But, to be honest, I've tried to block out both of these batmen from my memory so I don't have a solid reason why.

Because they both sucked. At least Kilmer somewhat tried to portray the mystery that is Batman whereas they portrayed Clooney’s version as a comical joke. Nothing against him because if done right Clooney could have been a great Batman.
