i no who would win one day i was playing smash bros brawl and turned up the difacalte sorry cant spell and had 10 matches with 10 lifes sonic and mario sonic won 9 out of 10 times i could not make this up if i wanted to i had nothing to do that day and it says alot about nintendo for makeing the game this way noing sonic is better

Sonic has only speed and is a good fighter while Mario has strength, incredible durability, more fighting experience, an arsenal of power ups (which he can carry, and Sonic cant carry any items), and a perfect counterattacking ability. In other words he can time his hits perfectly. Mega Mario, Metal Mario, and Invincible Mario could counter Super Sonic. So fans of Sonic, do some research before you post stupid comments. All around greatly developed abilities and power ups > speed

You moron. Sonic DOES carry powerups. He has the chaos emeralds, and he has those bubbles that allow him to turn into a fireball, breathe underwater, do a lightning double jump (Play Sonic 3 for genesis/megadrive). Super Star Mario has no chance against Super Sonic. Sonic runs at the speed of sound. Super Sonic is faster than the speed of light. Mario can hit what he can’t see? Yeah O.K. Sounds like you need to do some research, and jump off of the plumber’s pipe.

Sonic wins no doubt. Sonic is just as strong if not stronger than Mario, and Sonic has the speed to run circles around Mario’s fat a double s. Mario can use any power up he wants, problem is it will only last for a very short amount of time. While Sonic can go Super Sonic meaning he’ll be invincible for a heck of a lot longer than Mario’s drugs, and giving Sonic all the time he needs to mop the floor with that plumber. Sonic also has the power of youth. Sonic>Mario all day every day.
