9th Doctor vs 10th Doctor

Christopher Eccleston's Doctor seems like more of a tough guy than David Tennant's.

both my favorite doctors but id have to go with eccelston he was a badass and tennant was sort of a quirky doctor whitch i like.

Tennant was more of the smart guy Doctor. Eccelston’s Doctor had just regenerated after (possibly during) The Last Great Time War, and was adapted to fighting. He was also more cunning and ruthless than Tennant’s Doctor. Plus, Eccelston’s Doctor was in better shape. I think Tennant would get his ass kick, but he would get some good one-liners off before he got knocked out.

At first I chose Eccelston’s Doctor, but then I thought about it.
While Tenants was not as noticeably brutal, he still went to the extremes, including genocide when he had to. He thought things out more that Eccelston’s, and conquered greater foes.
